With the move to a new location in the Wallingford district of Seattle, I am increasing my available time and accepting private students. For lessons in flute, composition, or music theory, send me an email.
Flute students will learn proper technique, musicality, and a wide variety of literature. Lessons will be fun, informative, and challenging.
Composition students will write original music in a variety of styles. We will look at the musical foundations and influences of composers of the past and present days.
Music theory is part of the foundation of musical knowledge. It is important for all musicians to understand the basic building blocks of music. We will analyze existing works as well as creating our own.
My rates are priced at $25 for a half hour, $35 for 45 minutes, and $40 for one hour.
