As a flutist, I have premiered many new works. I have commissioned music by many composers, performed in ensembles dedicated to new music, and have collaborated with composers in exploration of the possibilities of extended flute techniques.
I am also an avid improviser and have performed in many solo and group improvisation performances throughout the USA and Europe.
I have studied and worked with many of the world’s most prominent flutists including: Anne LaBerge, Robert Dick, Jos Zwaanenburg, Matthias Ziegler, Wil Offermans, Hal Ott, and Paul Taub.
I perform on a Brannen expanded Kingma-System flute. With ten additional keys on the instrument, the possibilities of multiphonic and timbrel expansion is exponentially increased.
