Composition
Studying composition at Central Washington University was the catalyst for my continued dedication to new music. Now, with two masters degrees in the subject, composition is still one of the most invigorating aspects of my musical life.
I am influenced by a great deal of fantastic artists including: George Crumb, John Zorn, The Beatles, David Dramm, Charles Ives, Radiohead, Ned McGowan, Shostakovich, Brad Mehldau, Doctor Nerve, Primus, Eric Dolphy, Mr. Bungle, and many others.
We are truly standing on the shoulders of giants.
